The EasyGreen MikroFarm™ was developed out of the growing demand for organic, clean and fresh heath food.

The EasyGreen MikroFarm's unique patented technology empowers the individual to maintain a high potency immune system, by providing natural vitamins, minerals and enzymes that no other food or artificial supplement can rival.

 Seeds generate chemical heat during germination and need to be cooled to avoid mold and rotting. The EasyGreen MikroFarm uses a patented technology where mist and oxygen are applied simultaneously to the seeds, thus both cooling the seed's water and air, whilst oxygenating the seeds and water at the same time. Sprouts require little water, but require abundant amounts of oxygen.

 Sprouts are very sensitive to environmental conditions and climate changes. For example, in warm, humid areas such as Auckland, New Zealand and North Queensland, Australia etc, it is extremely difficult to sprout with conventional methods. However, the EasyGreen MikroFarm works in all these areas all year around - to the full satisfaction of our customers!

 Managing and controlling the humidity within the machine is critical to the sturdiness and success of the sprouts. The EasyGreen MikroFarm uses a unique 96-activations timer, allowing the grower to fine-tune the machine to his or her specific environmental conditions.

 Unlike the EasyGreen MikroFarm, other automatic sprouters do not have a built-in water reservoir and cannot select the source of water to use. The EasyGreen MikroFarm's built-in water reservoir is also compatible with either demineralized water, distilled water or reverse osmosis water, according to your specific needs.

 The water reservoir with its tinted water level indicator window, ( back section of your EasyGreen MikroFarm sprouter), allows you to add minerals that enhances growth, such as liquid kelp or hydroponic growing solutions. The grower may chose to add solutions that assist in disinfecting the crops, such as hydrogen peroxide or grapefruit seed extract etc. No known conventional or automatic system allows the same flexibility.

Conserves Water:
The EasyGreen MikroFarm unit uses only 2-4 litres of water in 24 hours due to it's fine misting activity. Conventional sprouters that use an automatic irrigation system, need to be plumbed into the mains and use 15 to 20 litres of water a day! Seeds germinated via conventional sprouting methods such as jars, bags, trays etc, need to be MANUALLY rinsed 3 to 6 times a day. The EasyGreen MikroFarm rinses automatically as many times as needed a day during the complete growing cycle using it's 96 activation timer.

Automatic Soaking, Rinsing, Misting, Oxygenating:
Conventional sprouters require a pre-soaking operation from 8 hours up to 24 hours, before commencing the propagation of the seed. However your EasyGreen MikroFarm requires NO pre-soaking at all. Seeds are placed in the tray or cartridge DRY and the EasyGreen MikroFarm takes over all duties such as: soaking, rinsing, misting, oxygenating and draining automatically. Thus saving you an extra day of pre-soaking and the manual handling of the repeat daily rinsing.

The misting and oxygenating automatic cycles assures a very quick harvest. 15% to 40% quicker then any other sprouting method. Sprouts taken out of conventional systems needs to be placed in a secondary pan such as BPA free GLAD storage containers for refrigeration. Our cartridges with unused sprouts can be placed directly into refrigeration for later use.

Practical Rectangular Shape Trays:
Some sprouting systems have a round shape. The EasyGreen MikroFarm uses rectangular cartridges and trays, allowing refrigeration of unused portions of a tray or cartridge, using minimal space.

Removable Trays:
Other systems do not use trays and the sprouts are germinated in the actual growing compartment without an intermediate container, thus needing to be removed into another tool for refrigeration. Your EasyGreen MikroFarm system uses removable cartridges and trays for the ultimate convenience.

Automatic Disinfecting Cycle:
The EasyGreen MikroFarm has an automatic disinfecting cycle. It is easy to keep high sanitary conditions within the machine. Only large commercial systems have a similar function!

Sprouts In Just 5 Days:
According to Dr. Ann Wigmore, a 5-day growing cycle for seeds such as: alfalfa, broccoli, radish, clover and similar is ideal. The EasyGreen MikroFarm system is the only sprouter on the market that uses 5 x cartridges which allows a rotation system, indicating which cartridge is ready for harvest. There is absolutely no need to write dates on each jar or bag!

Maximum Nutrients:
According to Dr. William S. Peavy, author of "Super Natural Gardening", sprouts needs to be consumed on the 5th or 6th day of germination, thereafter the young sprouts use their abundant amounts of minerals and vitamins for their own growing process. Thus it is important to consume sprouts fresh and around the 5th day of germination. No other sprouter can supply an automatic indication of which cartridge is now on its 5th day like the EasyGreen MikroFarm.

Mist Generator:
The Mist Generator™ is the heart of the machine, using 220~240 v / 50Hz and is rated at only 66 watts, which is a very negligible amount of electricity.

Modularity - Stackable Feature:
The EasyGreen MikroFarm is the only system in the world that can stack up 5 or 6 EasyGreen MikroFarm machines high. You may start with one machine and expand as your needs change. There is no need to dispose of an old system to purchase a larger sprouter. Thus you are able to accommodate the needs of an individual as well as a large family.

Two Settings / Modes of Operation

The Automatic Timer is very easy to set up and has two main modes of operation:

1. Intermittent settings - set adjustable push-in switches to programme the timer to turn on and off at regular intervals. The timer light will only come on when the timer is running,
2. Permanently 'on' setting - set the timer to stay on continuously by switching the red over-ride switch on side of the timer to the 'on' position. The timer light will stay on continuously with this setting.

Intermittent On / Off Settings:

Programming the timer is really easy:

1. Slide red switch to the 'timer' position,
2. There are 96 black push-in switches on the timer i.e. you can have 1-96 mistings for every 24 hours,
3. Each push-in switch will activate the timer for 15 minutes, i.e. 1 activated push-in switch will cause 1 x misting every 24 hours,
4. To activate a push-in switch, use a small pointed tool like a safety pin to push a black push-in switch down (see example below),
5. Push as many switches as you like. Keep in mind that every switch gives 15 minutes of misting per hour, i.e. 4 x switches will give 1 hour total misting every 24 hours.

Depending upon the a) seed you are growing, b) where you position your EasyGreen MikroFarm in your house, c) the season (Summer, Winter) d) etc, you will need to experiment with how many times the mister comes on and off each day. You. may need to set your timer to 15 minutes every hour (push in every 4th switch), or 15 minutes every 2 hours (push in every 8th switch) etc.

It does not take long to work out a system that suits your particular needs.
